Entersect does require certain articles of information for the CareerScreen process such as date of birth, social security number (SSN#), current address, and at times other information to properly identify you through a series of public record databases. This is your information that we are retrieving and your SSN# will be encrypted as an additional privacy measure. It is also important to note that your CareerScreen Report will only state that certain areas of your background have been verified and if a prospective employer requests your Detailed Report, you can enable and disable access. Your Detailed Report includes your encrypted SSN# (example 546-23-XXXX), your current and previous address (if available), any civil and criminal actions.
As a CareerScreen Member, you can de-activate your account at any time during the coverage period. You may also request a "purge" of your report from our CareerScreen system. It is important to note while we may delete your existing report, your information still exists with our public record sources for possible retrieval at a later date.
